LIBELULA

This steel sculpture is a representation of a Dragonfly wing. The form is based on the shapes that give the wings their strength, and reflects how these shapes change when the wing is in flight. The piece has been polished and lacquered so to reflect the colours surrounding the piece.

Details

This is an individual piece handmade from mild steel, polished and finished with a laquear. The dimensions of the sculpture are approximately 400mm wide, 150mm deep and with an overall height of 1900mm. The sculpture is presented on a 400 x 400mm natural stone base. 

The piece is named, signed, and numbered.

All the piece is designed to be weather resistant, allowing for outside display throughout the year.
